REALLY solid! The controls take a lot of getting-used to though, but it does make it an unexpected challenge. The pace is frantic even with all the upgrades available, and the 'days' always seem a bit too short. The overall balance seems to work, but with a little more room to breathe, I think more players would have a better time with it~. Grabbing ingredients seems a bit backwards, maybe if the furnace was closer to the counter? Again, it enforces the challenge, though grabbing incorrect ores can be frustrating. The colors of the ingredients dont match the recipe half the time, so visually it gets a bit confusing. STILL, a fun game~ Made it to day 15 on my 2nd try and my hand hurts from dancing on the arrow keys lol

Thank you for playing it and giving such feedback, this is a late response but with time we noticed that some people had difficulty with differentiating colors on the recipe. Most of them had some type of daltonism, because we did the minerals to looking the same sillhoute this give them nothing else to differentiate them.

This is our fault because none of us (the devs) have this problem.

The only good side of this is that if you aren't sure or don't know if you have daltonism, this could be a hint, we encorage you to check it with various image test

Can't see the whole play area off the edges, and cant even get past level 2. Music loop can be annoying, would say more if I could play more of the game.

Thanks for replying! The height and width problem will be fixed soon :)

And yes, this game is supposed to be hard :p

A solid concept but 2 major issues. The suuuuper slooooow crawling score-screen takes you out of the gameplay for WAY too long and is frustrating to watch, and the lack of having any sort of sense of where you are, what obstacles are in the immediate area, and clear indiciation of where you will move when you click. Perhaps if you had some kind of radar-map? Or widened the field-of-view on the game itself? Or even little indicators at the edge of the screen telling you where stuff is out there. Also, having an arrow on the edge of the planet showing what direction you will launch would help a TON. Just suggestions on how to improve~!

zorbslayer responds:

Thanks! I will definitely look into fixing these issues and the 3rd suggestion has been repeated to me multiple times and is first on my list!

Edit: I'm still thinking about the second issue, in my opinion, the game gives you enough time to react to obstacles and where you are doesn't matter, as long as you don't hit the border. I can totally see how people that haven't played it for hours would have problems though! I'm considering what would be the best fix without ruining the look of the game. Arrows on the edge of the screen seems like a good idea, I just wonder if players will go towards the arrows and get themselves killed. :P

Broken

2/3 games don't work and the guessing game is barely par for a "game"

hamtyler responds:

Arghhh - Think that's a browser thing - I tested it on The Big 3 the other day and they all worked but I bet it still throws a wobbly on some versions of Mozilla & Chrome

Shame because the first game is actually pretty good.

and yes the Guessing Game ain't no Halo Reach !

Controlls suck

so do the platform colors, they blend in with the background so you don't know where they end

and the controls are like constantly sliding on ice cause of how inaccurate the jumping is

so i guess its "playable" but DEFINITELY NOT "enjoyable"

2-3-ryan-5 responds:

platform blending? I made sure they didn't
mabey you should check your monitor
and technically because your a marble your rolling not sliding
and enjoyable is your oppinion
if you don't like it you don't have to play it

Meh...

Interesting concept...

but way too repetitive

maybe if not only the arrows changed... but the "Guard Point" moved as well just to mess with you even more? or even the pipes? (something along those lines anyway)

sjgold responds:

I like the thoughts....
